Our humble origins at Ramen of York stem from our first noodle bar, Silverlake Ramen.
In 2012, Silverlake Ramen joined the neighborhood on Sunset Blvd. After years of delighting the community with our savory ramen, we've branched out into the heart of Highland Park with Ramen of York.
It is here that Chef Hiro introduces a concept that sparked the inspiration to bring his ramen to America. While growing up in Japan, Chef Hiro cultivated his craft while apprenticing in artisanal ramen shops around Yokohama. During that time, chicken broth grew increasingly trendy and popular, yet he noticed America was still only familiarized with pork broths. Chef Hiro brings the best of Japan here to Ramen of York as his signature.
